Robert Stewart joined Eagle Materials Inc. in August 2009 as Executive Vice President - Strategy, Corporate Development and Communications

Previously Mr. Stewart served as an executive officer at Dallas-based Centex Corporation, where he had responsibility for Strategy, Corporate Development, Marketing, Sales and Communications. Prior to his nine year tenure with Centex, Mr. Stewart enjoyed a 23-year career at Weyerhaeuser Company, a global forest products firm. Mr. Stewart held a range of key leadership positions, both corporate and international at Weyerhaeuser.

Mr. Stewart holds an M.B.A. from the University of Washington, where he graduated with first-in-class honors, and where he received a Bachelor's degree in English, with a minor in Mathematics.
