Originally part of Centex Corporation, Eagle Materials became a fully independent company through a spin-off transaction in January 2004. Our independence allows us greater flexibility to invest in growth opportunities. Over the years, we have increased our market share and profitability through acquisitions, internal expansion and facility upgrades, taking advantage of the growing demand for the products that we provide.
Our substantial investments in high return projects, such as facility modernization and expansion, has solidified Eagle Materials' position as a low-cost producer of building materials and construction products.
